So the Android bug Nr 887 is not going to be fixed. The Bug makes the emulator crash on start-up without any useful error message. All you have to do is change the audio setting so that audio in is anything but line-in. Happens on all known Mac OS X systems.
I can understand that it is difficult to find and so it is still open. But closing the bug by setting the status to "declined" without further comment. That is really unacceptable.
